Within a 10 minute drive from the medieval town of Pons and thermal spa town of Jonzac; 25 minutes from coastal town of Royan, Meschers and St Georges de Didonne - this comfortable three-bedroomed gite with 2 doubles, one with a beautiful sitting area with a log burner and a large balcony and one twin(bunkbeds).

Entry from private patio area through large French door directly into open plan ground floor area.

Living room houses two sofas, a log burner, and TV with English freeview channels. Dining area has farmhouse style table and seating for 6. Kitchen is a combination of fitted units and freestanding, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and Microwave.

The style throughout is a blend of old and new, the bedrooms are bright and fresh with plenty of natural light. The flooring is tiled throughout downstairs and wooden upstairs.

The woodburners should be sufficient to heat the property but electric radiators are built-in for out of season lets when it is particularly cold.

Immediately outside the property is a walled private patio area looking onto fields, there is garden furniture, and bbq underneath a covered area, and established planting. Adjacent to the property is the enclosed solar heated pool
Chez Mesnard is in a beautiful location on the edge of a hamlet surrounded by farm land and stunning views. The area is peaceful and calm with no through traffic except the odd tractor.

There are plenty of pretty walks direct from the complex and bikes can be hired locally.

The gite complex is set up provide a safe environment for families to holiday together, each gite has its own space but the communal areas provide access to social events.

The owners can provide food from various set menus and these can be left in the gites for guests to reheat or served in the bar. There are also evening organised that the guests can attend with food and Local Pineau served, a chance to get to know your neighbours.

The pool area is very well designed and close to the gites. The pool is heated and has a saline treatment system both excellent for small children. Umbrellas, gazebo and sunloungers are provided.

Wooden childrens play equipment is also provided in the field behind the pool area.

WIFI is available in all the gites.
