The detached stone property sits alongside our house and is perfect for a romantic holiday 'a deux'. The furnishings are all of a high standard. It is decorated in a contemporary eastern style using Turkish rugs and warm Mediterranean colours.
The ground floor is open-plan with a well equipped kitchen-
a washer/dryer, dishwasher and a combination oven/grill/microwave along with a double electric hob. The cappuccino/expresso maker adds a little touch of fun. The lounge is ideal for relaxing in front of the Villager fire whilst watching one of the many up-to-date DVD's on the flat screen TV. If you want to catch up on your favorite soap, that isn't a problem, as we pick up UK channels via Jersey. You can choose to take your meals at the breakfast bar, at the coffee table in front of the TV, or from the foldaway dining table.
The spiral staircase leads to your bathroom and bedroom; soft lighting creates a warm romantic glow once the sun goes down! After a long day sightseeing or just lazing on the nearby beach, make the most of the corner bath - big enough for two! Light the candles, and enjoy the complimentary bath products, as well as the bathside bottle of bubbly. Fluffy towels and matching bathrobes complete the picture.
A king-size bed, quality bedding and pillows ensure a good nights sleep; during the cooler months you will have the added warmth of an electric blanket. A bedside radio and CD player along with a selection of books and magazines give the perfect reason for a little lie-in; along with breakfast in bed of course.
Outside you will find a small yet private patio garden, perfect for morning coffee or dinner on a warm evening. There is a large stone barbecue and the first pack of coals is on us.

From a breakfast basket to a restaurant quality meal prepared by us and served in the privacy of your gite...it's up to you! All produce used is either grown by us or sourced locally.
We are always happy to arrange a special menu to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Please ask us for full details of our menus when you enquire about our property.

The Manche area of Normandy is a gentle and peaceful region, perfect to explore at your leisure.
Take a simple stroll down the lane into the forest or a more energetic ride to the beach on the tandem. The abbey town of Lessay is only 3 minutes away by car and has everything you might need, with a good choice of shops and an excellent supermarket. The abbey is famous throughout France and well worth a visit. In early September the fair of St Criox is held over three days; said to have been started by the monks over a thousand years ago; you can buy anything from a cow to a washing up bowl! The stunning (and empty) west coast beaches are less then ten minutes away by car. The D-Day landing beaches and American cemetery, as well as Mont St Michel both make good day trips; the mediaeval town of Bayeux and the world-famous tapestry is only an hour and a half away. You can even catch the train to Paris for that extra touch of romance!
