Situated in the southern Loire valley in a peaceful hamlet these two newly renovated 18th. century gites combine the charm of oak beams, stone walls and original fireplaces with the practicality of modern shower-rooms and fully equipped kitchens.

Furnished and decorated to a high standard both have two bedrooms with La Chouette sleeping up to four and l'Hibou two adults and up to three children.

A cot and a high chair are available and the security of children has been taken into account; hobs are induction, shower taps have a thermostatic control, bathromm floors have non-slip tiles and a stair safety gate is available.

Each gîte has a 19" flat television screen with an integrated DVD player with a slot-in loader and USB and VGA interfaces. We have a small number of DVDs available and each gîte is supplied with a selection of reading material and board games.

There is a seperate, private garden area for each gîte with oak chairs and table and a barbeque. The heated pool with its lockable security cover is shared and equipped with comfortable hard-wood loungers and deck chairs. A sand pit is provided for young children, there is a selection of garden ball games and two sets of boules are supplied.

Our prices are inclusive of cleaning, electricity, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linen and oak logs for the wood-burning stove in the cooler seasons. We provide a First Shop Service free of charge and will reserve bicycles for you prior to your arrival should you so wish. You are also welcomed with a Welcome Pack of basic fresh local produce.

La Grange des Près is well placed for visiting all the places of interest in this wonderful UNESCO World Heritage site or for simply enjoying a peaceful and relaxing holiday, rambling, cycling, horse-riding in the forest or ... lounging by the pool.
