The “Cidrerie” was originally the part of “La Crepelliere” where the cider was made and stored, with the apples taken from the orchard.
Now completely restored and renovated ready for May 2011 into a very spacious, light and airy self contained holiday accommodation with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sitting room, separate kitchen, sleeping 6-7 guests and baby.
Surrounded by the garden and fields there are lovely views of the orchard from most of the rooms and on a sunny afternoon light floods in to house.

The owners live on site; this allows them to ensure that the property and the garden are always presented at the highest possible standard and to be available to assist guests should any problems occur.

While restoring “The Cidrerie” attention has been given to keep as many of the charming features as possible whist adding our own unique ideas and with the finished accommodation being a blend of old and new making it interesting and comfortable.

Ground Floor

The Sitting Room (6mx7m)
The most striking feature is a large fireplace with wood burning stove which is surrounded by two sofas and arm chairs with comfy feather cushions.
An unusual feature is this room is the old well under the floor which has now been covered with a hatch for safety!
The double aspect of this room ensures that the room is bright throughout the day with views over the orchard and the south facing front garden.

There is a large dining table and chairs for family or group dining or playing games.
Tucked discretely under the stairs is an ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner.

Two steps lead up through a wide doorway and to the kitchen.

The Kitchen (7m x 4m)
A very spacious light and airy room with double height ceiling. The kitchen is a charming blend of old and new it is well equipped with

• dishwasher
• washing machine
• toaster and kettle
There is a marble topped dresser for food preparation with ample storage cupboards below and above for the crockery and glassware.
At the other end of the kitchen there is a dining table with chairs and a large double glazed door gives access to the orchard, garden and private parking area.
In the afternoon and evening the light floods into the kitchen and makes this the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a drink or to have dinner.

First Floor
An attractive staircase leads to a large carpeted landing area with a very interesting cast iron balustrade and an original exterior oak window which provides a view down into the double height kitchen.

Double bedroom (4m x 4m)with en-suite (3m x 2m)
The room has been comfortably furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, reading lamps, a wardrobe, dressing table, chair, large mirror and hair dryer.
The double aspect windows of this room make it bright and warm. A large window provides view of the front garden and meadow and a double glazed door give views of the orchard. A perfect place to sit and read a book or watch the sun go down.
This bedroom has an ensuite shower rooms with hand basin, toilet, heated towel rail and ventilation system.

There is also a Family bathroom on the same floor with a bath, a shower over the bath, hand basin, toilet, heated towel rail and
ventilation system.

Second Floor
The stairs lead to a large landing and access to a double bedroom and another large bedroom with three single beds.

Double bedroom (3m x 3m)
This pretty room has been furnished with a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, reading lamps, a wardrobe, mirror, a chair and hair dryer. The window, high up in the house gives a lovely view of the orchard and surrounding fields and sends light into the room in the afternoon and evening sun.

Single Bedded Room (6m x 3m)
This room has 3 single beds, bedside tables, lamps and a very attractive built in wardrobe. Light floods the room from a large Velux window giving views over the fields and vegetable garden.

All the beds are comfortably made up with white Egyptian cotton bed linen and feather pillows and the bathrooms have fluffy white towels, hand towels and bathmats. Included in the rental cost.

For small children there is a travel cot, high chair and stair gate (£10) please request in advance.
Please note that you will need to bring your own blankets and linen for the cot

Electricity is monitored and normal usage is included in the weekly rental cost. A charge may be made for excessive use.

There is an extra charge for winter heating (wood and electricity)
