Located near the market town of Brecey, this restored bakery is comfortably equipped for two people. It has the added advantage of heating for winter use (including a log burner) and is ideal for that get away from it all holiday. On the ground floor there is an ample sized living room / kitchen which is fully equipped, plus shower room. Upstairs there is a large double (twin) bedroom.

The house is set in the grounds of an old farm dating back to the early 19th century and has great views over the rolling Normandy countryside. There is a private parking area and garden adjacent to the house.

Nearby Brecey has all you need, with a supermarket, bakery and restaurant. Slightly further afield are the beautiful towns of Villedieu les Poeles famed for its copper and the fishing port of Granville favoured by the French for its
seafood restaurants.The Normandy landing beaches are but a short drive and are steeped in the history of the liberation of France. Mount St Michel is a must see for anyone visiting Normandy and is just a short distance along the coast.

The English/French owners who live on site are able to help with any queries and are flexible regarding changeover days so that you can take advantage of bargain ferry and air fares. At the adjacent farmhouse evening meals can be arranged so that you can sample simple French country cuisine using home grown produce where possible.

We keep a no smoking policy at the house.
