Welcome to Cruzel.The gite set in the picturesque village, Touffailles, [SW France], secluded in a beautiful valley with panoramic views across oak woods and sunflowers fields.Cruzel offers two well equipped gites for self-contained holidays; a spacious cottage for four and a main house annex for two.French doors of both gites open onto the sunny terrace where you can enjoy your meals, read or just contemplate over the stunning views of the valley. Outdoors:
• 12m x 6m salt water swimming pool close to house - with approved pool alarm system.
• Table /chairs, big wooden parasol for shade during the hot summer days.
• 6m x 6m covered terrace with sun loungers and seating area for you to relax
• Barbecue
• Sauna
• Marquee with table tennis
• Football and badminton net (badminton and tennis rackets are provided)
• Adult bicycles are available to borrow
• 3.4 hectares of gardens and private oak woods with the superb views over neighbouring sunflowers and rolling wooded countryside.In our gites you can relax, unwind and let the much slower lifestyle soothe away the stresses and strains.
Its more things to do and see- wine tasting, golf, horse-riding, sailing, walking, fishing, parachuting and quad biking all available nearby.walking, cycling, golf, horse riding, canoeing and more... Touffail les village has a boulangerie/grocery store, post office and tennis courts just opposite the gite. The local restaurants offer traditional quality cuisine at affordable prices; At Miramont you can enjoy a 5 course lunch, wine included, for only E12.50!
Cahors 35min- the Valentré Bridge is the symbol of the town.
Moisac 25min- it is famous world-wide mostly for the ancient Saint Peter's Abbey.
Lauzerte 10min- is a lovely small bastide town, founded by the Count of Toulouse in 1241."Les Plus Beaux Villages de France"-one of most beautiful villages in France.
Montaiqu de Quercy 10min- with strong sense of history and the town is extremely attractive with pretty half-timbered houses, narrow, steeply rising streets and a colourful Saturday market.
Montcuq 20min- pretty medieval village with the popular Sunday market
