This ancient watermill is situated on a small island with a waterfall alongside. It is set in woodlands and meadows of approx. 10 acres in a very peaceful valley. The Lantouy river, whose source lies about 1km away in woodlands, flows through the grounds and is surrounded by unspoilt wilderness. The water is very clear and suitable for bathing. There is direct access to the Lot river from one of the meadows.

Laid out to provide privacy whilst enjoying the abundance of nature all around and with access to the river Lantouy & the river Lot. It is cool in the summer due to it's thick stone walls and there is a wood burning stove for the colder months. Situated 50 kms east of Cahors along the D662, near to Cajarc, in the vallee du Lot. The Lantouy itself is a pure underground water source, which flows through the grounds of the watermill and is surrounded by unspoilt nature. It has wooden beams, a log burner, fitted kitchen, shower, access to the Lantouy and Lot for swimming, fishing, canoeing etc.

The experience is very much of being at one with nature, so whether you prefer an active time or something more restful, le Moulin de Lantouy is the ideal retreat.

Alternatively, we also have available Le Heron, part of the miller's house sleeping 5 people in 2 bedrooms. This gite is on two floors with open plan living accommodation on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs. There is a garden area to the front.
