Chez Caro is a traditional stone farmhouse situated at the southernmost tip of the Cantal amongst rolling hills and wooded valleys close to the Aveyron and the Lot valley. It is just 30mins by car from Figeac and 45mins from the airport at Rodez. (Cheap Ryanair flights from Stansted) The gite has been sympathetically renovated and retains its farmhouse character. There are two double rooms and a single room with bunk beds. One of the double rooms is a family room with an additional single bed and we have a child's bed and travel cot availble. Use of the owners pool, bikes to borrow and a friendly farm down the lane to explore ensure that there is entertainment for everyone on the doorstep. The surrounding medieval villages and towns such as Conques, Salers and Figeac are well worth exploring.
