Chez Mesnard is a small hamlet of five properties located between Fleac sur Seugne and Marignac. Our property consists of a large main building presently divided into 5 dwellings. As well as the main building, there is a large barn and two smaller buildings; along with a separate property in which the owners live, situated to form a grassed "courtyard" at the centre of which is a large lime tree. Our cluster of buildings overlook open countryside - given over to sunflowers, maize and wheat rotationally each year - and extensive vineyards. Although there are French families nearby, the accommodation is surrounded by peace and tranquility. There are five gites in our Charentaise farmhouse sleeping 2;2/3; 4/5, 6 and 10. The gite "Pierre Brun" sleeping 4/5 consists of a large lounge and dining area (approximately 30 square metres in size)and a fully-equipped kitchen area (comprising gas cooker, fridge,dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere). There is access to a washing machine in separate outbuilding. There are two bedrooms (one double and one single containing a set of bunks and a separate single bed) together with bathroom (shower, bath and separate w.c.) upstairs. The main front doors open on to the "courtyard" area and the accommodation has a patio area which is equipped with table, chairs and barbecue facilties. There is also a luxurious,shared swimming pool.
