Come and enjoy a holiday in our beautiful converted barn, finished to a luxury standard with an 11 x 7m illuminated pool. 2 Luxury Gites: Souris sleeping up 2- 6 and Fauvette: sleeping up to 8. BOTH Gites can be let together as one complete unit with use of an inter-connecting door for larger parties, sleeping 14 in all.

Gite 1 - Fauvette - Sleeps 2 to 8 (PRICES £100 per week more than Souris)

Satellite TV / HD DVD and expanding DVD library. Books and games provided.

Spacious accommodation. Open plan ground floor with shower room and toilet, large lounge and fully equipped kitchen (inc cooker, dishwasher,fridge, freezer and microwave). Impressive dining area opened up through to exposed roof beams. Utility area with washing machine, iron etc.

First Floor - Three large double bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twin beds. A second shower room and toilet. All rooms lead from the mezzanine. There are two foldaway beds available if required. Windows have views over the pool and rolling countryside/sunflowers.

Gite 2 -Souris - Sleeps 2 to 6

Satellite TV/ HD DVD and expanding DVD library. Books and games provided.

With open plan ground floor with fully equipped kitchen, (inc cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave). Dining and lounge areas, shower room toilet. Utility area with washing machine, iron etc.

There is an adjoining door between the 2 properties for convenience if both gites are rented together to large parties, so that combined, the gites can cater for 14 persons.

First Floor - 3 large double bedrooms, one with double bed and two with twin beds. Second shower room and toilet. All windows overlook the pool and undulating countryside/sunflowers.

Private patio areas with BBQ's and garden furniture.Ball games, kite flying,frizzbees/table tennis available, as well as a Boules Court in our large 1.6 acre garden.

Linen and bath towels (changed twice-weekly) provided, and pool towels are also provided upon request. Utilities included. Both gites have a log burning stove for out of season letting, suitable for those house-hunting in the area. Smoking outside only.

Situated in a quiet hamlet, Plassac-Rouffiac, just south of Mouthiers sur Boeme(5mins) with Bank, doctor, dentist, pharmacy, mini-supermarket,2 boulangeries, hairdresser, charcuterie and post office.

Larger supermarkets are 20 mins away at Villebois Lavalette and Chateauneuf.

We are 20 mins from historic Angoulême with its' many restaurants, café-bars, boutiques, museums etc. Its' airport is served by Ryanair. Other airports within 1H30 are Poitiers, Limoges, Bordeaux and Bergerac. La Rochelle is approx. 2H away.
