A delightful gite with two beautiful bedrooms sleeping up to 6 plus a cot bed for a little one. Set in it's own grounds this lovely gite has an above ground pool, patio/sunbathing area, barbecue area & large secure garden.
Situated midway between the two beautiful cities of Poitiers & Limoges and set in the little hamlet of Jemelle, the area is surrounded by open rolling countryside, ideal for walking & cycling. Two lovely meandering rivers are within 4 miles of the gite ideal for those who love a spot of fishing. There are also pushbikes available for the guests who like to take in the delightful scenery in the area.
the closest town is Montmorillon famous for it's bookshops where you can even learn the art of calligraphy in one of the many classes held there. St.Savin is also very close where you can visit it's famous abbey. For the more adventurous there is canoing,waterskiing and rafting.The beautiful mediaeval town of Chauvigny is a must visit with it's castles and stunning scenery. Take the kids to see the brilliant bird show there and they will have the time of their lives!!
